Approach to Early Puberty

Abstract

Puberty is a physiological process if it occurs at the normal time and duration. Precocious puberty is defined as development of secondary sex characteristics before the age of 8 years in girls and before the age of 9 years in boys.The causes of puberty symptoms in patients presenting with early puberty findings should be investigated first.Apart from the fact that early puberty affects the final height, psychosocial disorders may develop due to inappropriate pubertal development.
