Abstract

Hemoptysis is defined as the expectoration through the mouth of blood originating from the parenchymal tissue of the lung or from the bronchial tree. It is commonly seen throughout the world. The etiology of hemoptysis, which is widely encountered worldwide, has varied according to geographical conditions and the period in which the studies were conducted; in the face of this situation, it is observed that different countries have from time to time contributed to the scientific world through collaboration.

The main aim of the study is to examine and evaluate the studies on hemoptysis from various perspectives.

In line with this aim, we sought to present the results of the studies conducted alongside the literature.
