Foot drop is a common complication after gynecological surgeries or a prolonged lithotomy position. The Loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) is widely used for cervical lesions. Before the LEEP, the gynecologist applies local anesthesia to the cervix. We describe a rare case with a foot drop right after local anesthesia to the cervix. In this case 48-year-old female was referred to the emergency room with the complaint of foot drop after a local injection of the cervix for the LEEP. Her blood tests and radiological findings revealed no abnormalities. After 4 hours of follow-up, the foot drop resolved without any sequelae. The foot drop is an undefined complication after the local anesthesia for the LEEP. The gynecologists should know the patient will completely heal after a short follow-up.
